Massage and Bodywork Services
Swedish massage will probably remain the most popular massage in our society. The majority seem to love it because of stressful lifestyles which cannot be avoided. After weeks upon weeks, that daily grind will get to anyone. One of the many escapes people turn to is the light and easygoing Swedish massage.
The main goal is relaxation, and aside from the Swedish technique itself, a few added elements can help immensely! Take aromatherapy, for example, it’s ages-old and still works wonderfully! Some scents can bring back fond childhood memories, while others just help clients to drift off and enjoy the moment. Another is the use of hot towels, either on the face, hands, feet or back, to let the client’s muscles loosen without having to use deep pressure. Finally, good music is key. I like to find out what a client dislikes, so they’re not disturbed during the session.
Work with your LMT to find out what helps you to relax, and with luck each session should be better than the last!
